Kim Gorman, MS, RD is director of the Colorado Weigh program and editorial coordinator for the journal Obesity and Weight Management. She holds a BS in Nutrition Science from Ohio University and MS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Akron. She has held Executive Committee Chair positions in the Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group of the American Dietetic Association. She has 18 years of experience in the field of nutrition and exercise, including early clinical experience at Cleveland Clinic and five years of research with a psychologically-based, telephonic, nutrition education intervention with Summa Health Systems. Kim created and holds a dual patent on her dietary plate apparatus, Perfect Portions Diet Dishâ„¢ which has been used by both the Diabetes Prevention Program and the Look AHEAD program.
